HUMAN GUT MICROBIOME - A CLOSE AID TO THE SECOND BRAIN. 


I chose this topic for the Poster Presentation Competition held on 18th October, 2024 in St. Philomena College, Mysuru in collaboration with the 'Association of Microbiologists of India'. 


Participants were given the liberty to choose any topic related to 'Microbiology', so this topic came to my mind. 

Without doubt, ' Human gut microbiome ' plays a crucial role in regulation of various metabolism, immune response and in turn to maintain homeostasis in the body. Any  'Dysbiosis in gut microbiome' can lead to various diseases. 

I have done a 'Narrative Review' of various research articles and presented it in the form of a Poster.
