Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy, Janakpuri conducted a 'Poster writing Competition' on 4th October 2023 on the occasion of “Swachhata Diwas, 2023” on the topic of “Swacch Shareer, Swacch Mann aur Swacch Parisar” for school students of MCD Primary School, Janakpuri, New Delhi. Around 75 students participated. It was heartening to see the students came up with beautiful posters that gave the message to 'eat healthy' for clean body, practice yoga, and refrain from excessive usage of gadgets for clean mind. They also depicted Mother Earth, lush green vegetation and advised to say 'No' to plastics and use garbage cans to keep the environment clean.
The Prize distribution function was held on 11th October, 2023 in the school premises.
The prize distribution function was attended by Honourable Director of CCRYN Dr. Raghavendra Rao .M , Assistant Director Mr. Surinder Kumar Sandhu, Principal of the School Mrs Sarita Aggarwal, Research Officer of CCRYN Dr. H S Vadiraja, Consultant Admins Mr. Gopala Krishna Shukla, Mr. Sunil Kumar Anand and Hindi Translator Mr Sathish.
The program was hosted and organised by Dr. Nidhishree.J.S , SRF, CCRYN.

The award winners were chosen by Senior consultant admin Mr. Kundan Lal Gothwal. The certificates and photography were designed and clicked by Mr. Rahul Javed Khan and Mr. Vikas Mishra, CCRYN.
Significance of the Competition:
Formative years are the best to adopt healthy habits like yoga, healthy food habits and good lifestyle practices. This helps in preventing diseases and promoting holistic health. Keeping this in mind, the competition was a platform for awareness generation and also to encourage “Creative Writing” among the students, which has the potential to blossom into significant innovations in the future.
The award winners were presented with cash award, books titled "Health education for children", brochures on Yogasanas and Surya Namaskar published by CCRYN as part of awareness generation.

  I am currently travelling from Shivamogga to Mysore(karnataka, India) by bus. It is a 5 hours long journey(edit:7 hours)! My best friends are addictive!!!

 As I was digging into my old stocks at home, nostalgia started to peak!!  The reason was that- I came across my  'best friends'  who had given me some memorable  companionship!!! Even if you are not in touch with these friends. They  fill your minds!! Beware!!They are really addictive.  I assure you that they are a good addiction!! As they keep up your health-physical, mental, social, all kinds of wellbeing as suggested by the WHO!!!! Someone like me get addicted to them to an extent that, we start spending a lot of money and time on them !!! Well, I am damn sure that this addiction doesn't need a cure! nor rehabilitation! Infact, my parents support me on this addiction!! Well,  I would certainly in the future push my own children to get addicted to it!!!
